The animals look like real ones and you can't say that these are graphics. In connection with this event, it took me into my head to draw a lion. Here's how I did it.

Here's our sketch. Now let's start covering our lion with hair and give it volume and shape. But before that, let's work on the eyes and nose.

I draw in detail the eyes and nose with a pencil with a hardness of 4B. Don't forget about glare in the eyes. We outline them in advance and in no case paint over. We circle the nose and part of the mouth (mouth) fatter. The nose itself, for now, is extinguished with one layer. Then we will return to it.

Let's roughly outline the mane. In some places along the marked line, there will be dark areas of the coat. Let's draw a little face and nose. He adjusted his eyes slightly.

We sketch in approximately dark areas of the mane. The pencil is still the same, 4B. Pay attention, on the right side, part of the ear will stick out from under the thick mane. Do not forget about it, so as not to accidentally shade.

We sketch out the mane and part of the lion's face. We make strokes in shape to achieve volume.

We continue to hatch the face. Look at the photo to see the direction of hair growth. We simply extinguish the nose itself, since there are many small hairs on it, and it is almost impossible to draw from it.

After the first layer of hatching is applied, we move on to work on the contrast. Darken and level out the overall tone. Gradually and slowly add new layers of hatching.
